Liberty High School Students’ Testimony Against Missouri Statewide Video Franchising Bill
Broadcasting students from KLPS Channel 18 at Liberty High School testify before a Missouri House committee against statewide video franchise legislation (SB 284). Unfortunately, the bill was passed by both houses and signed into law on March 22. The students in this (incomplete) clip are: J.D. Irwin, Alix Wiggins, Vincie Spero, and Kelli Zech. Ann Bertoldie is their broadcast teacher; C.W. Stessman is KLPS General Manager.
